Over eight years ago, I took a leap and signed my first commercial lease on a space that was a blank canvas. After three months of hard work, we opened the doors to The Studio on April 1, 2016. Since then, The Studio has been a nurturing ground for numerous businesses (including my own!), supported non-profits in their endeavors, and hosted celebrations of all kinds.
Throughout these years, my journey has evolved. I pivoted my photography work, advanced in my professional career, became a mom, and was elected to city council. With these changes, my priorities have shifted. It isn’t fair to let this beautiful space on the main street of my favorite city sit mostly empty and too often neglected.
As we close this chapter, August will mark the beginning of a new era for 6571 University. I am excited to see what the future holds for this wonderful space. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey.
